Our Group played a key part in the cutting edge £8M refurbishment of 1 City square Leeds, an iconic, 108,000 square foot, 11-storey building occupying one of the most prominent locations in Leeds City Centre, opposite the train station and at the gateway to the Central Business District.
We provided full M&E design and installation at a cost of around £2.5M. The project took just over a year to complete and the transformation is exceptional.
The reception has been turned into into a modern collaborative business lounge with a café and free to use meeting rooms, in addition to two fitness suites, cycling facilities, showers, break out areas & office space over 11 floors.
The building is home to major occupiers including Deloitte, Allied Irish Banks and LDC Lloyds. These businesses continued to trade throughout the year long fit out with no disruption. Our master plan was to manage the project in bite size pieces with careful planning and design implemented to ensure minimal disruption.
