Working within a busy, well established Mechanical Contractor providing a high level of service and workmanship to a demanding and changing market, the ideal candidate will be able to work as a team or individually.

Candidates will be of a trustworthy nature, presentable and with a positive attitude; as the need to work remotely, or as part of a wider team, on a mix of short duration or longer-term schemes; they will portray the company.

Must have high standards of work along with a good working ethic with attention to detail. In return on offer is a competitive reflected hourly rate with opportunities to progress within the company.

They must be flexible and punctual as the working environment is fluid and changes constantly.

The role is predominantly working away Sunday nights through to Thursday nationwide, however some works are on days Mon – Fri. The rates offered reflect this pattern. Generally, will be working on various rollout, reactive or programmed works for major retail clients; vehicle, accommodation and subsistence is provided.

Duties/Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a plumbing/heating engineer to join our ever growing team at Key Group. Must be competent to carry out all aspects of plumbing and heating from basic plumbing installs, to water heaters and boilers.
  • Require a minimum of 3 years out of time experience, must have good people skills to engage with customers and take pride in their work
  • Require full UK driving licence.
  • Area of work is nationwide, with paid hotel, meal allowance, paid on basic hourly rate for all travel too.
  • Will be provided with company vehicle, fuel card etc

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 2 – 3 Plumbing and Heating
  • Valid Asbestos Awareness – Beneficial – training will be provided where required
  • First Aid – Beneficial but not essential – training will be provided where required
