Site Manager – Construction
The Role – What will I be doing?
Working a varied schedule, primarily Monday to Friday during the day, with occasional night and weekend shifts depending on the workload, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our sites across the UK—from setting up the site compound to handing over upon completion. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Managing Contractors
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Issuing permits to work and checking RAMS
- Complete Toolbox talks
- Selecting tools and equipment to ensure the works can be completed within the deadlines
- Site reports
- Problem solving on site
- Liaising with external clients including members of the public
What will I need?
At KEY, everyone collaborates as a team to deliver quality work to our clients. This is a quality we seek in all our candidates and is essential for this role. Additionally, you’ll need:
- Current CSCS card
- In date SMSTS qualification
- NVQ Level 3 or above within the construction industry ie bricklaying, joinery etc.
- First Aid (preferred)
- Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
- IPAF (desirable)
- PASMA (desirable)
- Demonstratable experience in managing people or working in a team environment
